Walking and Falling by Carole Waller. Pots by Gary Wood

‘We believe that everyone’s creativity is a vital part of life. It informs our thinking, being and doing, in all the varied contexts of our lives. We hope to provide an atmosphere in which imagination, experimentation and ideas are nurtured, encouraged and shared, with as much guidance or freedom as each individual needs.’

Carole Waller and Gary Wood are professional artists and art teachers. Gary’s specialism is ceramics and Carole’s expertise is painting and printing on cloth. They have exhibited their work nationally and internationally for twenty-five years. They have led workshops, residencies, projects and clubs -  in schools, colleges, universities and companies, and taught regular courses from their studios in Bath. They offer staff training workshops in creative development for businesses, teachers and community groups. In 2010 they launched the inaugural Summer School for young people, which was a great success and which will now be an annual event. They curate exhibitions at One Two Five Gallery, which is part of their home, studios and garden.
